BAUXITE, Ark. – The chime of new business is a sound many people in Bauxite thought they’d never hear again.
Linda Hardin, who graduated from Bauxite High School in 1968, is one of many in town who are shocked to drive past the school and see a dozen new businesses lining the highway across the street.
“Just a real thrill to see it come back,” Hardin said. “Especially on this property, because I do remember the depot well.”
