CONWAY, Ark. – The largest lake renovation in Arkansas Game and Fish Commission history is diving deep into a new project.
This week, work began on 30 miles of boat lanes, which is expected to take a few months to level and mark.

Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Fisheries District Supervisor Nick Feltz said many boat lanes will remain consistent, but some will take paths hundreds of yards from where they were originally.
One of the reasons is that AGFC is trying to make sure the boat lanes have the least amount of stumps, which is the longest part for an aquatic excavator doing the groundwork by cutting trees and grinding stumps…
