LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Data released by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Wednesday shows Arkansas had a reduction in overdose deaths in 2024 compared to 2023.
According to the data, Arkansas reduced its overdose deaths by 26.52% in 2024 compared to 2023. The CDC predicted 388 deaths in 2024, compared to 528 deaths in 2023.
