Little Rock Zoo hosts endangered species day festivities for a wild weekend

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — The Little Rock Zoo is hosting a weekend of festivities in honor of Endangered Species Day, a day dedicated by Congress in 2006 to raise awareness about endangered species and advocate for their protection.

Joy Matlock, the zoo’s director of marketing and development, shared details about the event and other upcoming celebrations.
