LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – An executive order signed on Thursday by Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders increases funding for Arkansans impacted by tornadoes.
The executive order adds $100,000 from the Governor’s Disaster Response and Recovery Fund for use by the Department of Emergency Management. It is specifically for the needs resulting from the April 2 tornadoes in the state.

The funds are intended to defray costs from program and administrative post-disaster management, according to the order.
