Arkansas Black artists showcase genre-bending talent & homegrown pride

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — From the Delta blues that shaped America’s musical roots to the voices that carried gospel and opera across global stages, Arkansas’s Black artists continue to reflect the state’s deep musical legacy.

In the third installment of THV11’s Black Music Month series, we turn our attention to the wide range of genres embraced by Arkansas-born artists and the collaborative spirit that keeps the sound growing.
