Governor Sanders announces new quorum court appointments across Arkansas

Arkansas – Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has announced a series of appointments to fill vacancies on quorum courts in several counties across the state. Each appointee will serve as Justice of the Peace for their respective districts, completing terms that extend through December 31, 2026.

In Carroll County, David Blakenship of Eureka Springs has been appointed to serve District 1, filling the seat previously held by Jackie Deaton. In Chicot County, William Borgognoni of Lake Village will now represent District 7, taking over from Ralph C. Jones.

Two appointments were made in Hempstead County. Krystal Goshen of Hope has been named to represent District 2, filling the term of Cherry Stewart, while Joe Raschke, also of Hope, will serve in District 6, succeeding Troy Lerew…
