Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin announces three June arrests for Medicaid fraud

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Investigations by the Arkansas attorney general’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit led to three arrests across the state in June.

Attorney General Tim Griffin said the three arrestees were 41-year-old Roi Pelto of Fayetteville, 38-year-old Davanna Wiley of Arkadelphia and 21-year-old Lexie King of Lepanto.

Pelto was arrested on June 23 and is facing charges of felony exploitation of a vulnerable person and theft of property. Officials said Pelto was as a co-guardian of the victim and allegedly stole the victim’s money, personal property, and silver coin collection.

Wiley was arrested on June 25 and is facing a charge of felony abuse of a vulnerable person. Officials said Wiley was a caregiver for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities and is facing charges for pushing a client to the ground while the client was leaving home…
