Arkansas nonprofits voice concerns over proposed SNAP cuts

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — Nonprofits across Arkansas are raising the alarm over the proposed “One Big Beautiful Bill,” which could significantly impact the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.

The bill proposes shifting some of the cost burden for food stamps onto states and expanding work requirements for recipients.
