Little Rock Air Force Base hosts 10th Liberty Fest

LITTLE ROCK Ark. — Patriotic spirit and community celebration were on full display Wednesday evening as Little Rock Air Force Base hosted its 10th Annual Liberty Fest at Heritage Park. The event welcomed an estimated 3,000 attendees and featured a lineup of food, fun, live music and fireworks to honor Independence Day.

Liberty Fest kicked off at 5 p.m. with a wide range of attractions for attendees of all ages. Families enjoyed inflatable obstacle courses and games, while adults competed in a spirited cornhole tournament beginning at 6 p.m.

The evening’s entertainment included live performances by local artist Kate Kristine and Outlaw Apostles, culminating in a stunning fireworks display at 9 p.m.

“We just have a lot here at the event for families,” said Maj. Caitlyn Williams, Commander of the 19th Force Support Squadron. “It’s a full, fun day for anyone with base access—active duty, their families, retirees and civilians. This is what we’re here for: to bring people together, to celebrate, and to make sure families have opportunities like this.”…
