Arkansas’ forgotten Revolutionary War battle and the epic charge that ended it

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — As we celebrate our nation’s independence, many may be surprised to learn that a Revolutionary War battle took place in Arkansas.

The Battle of Arkansas Post, or the “Colbert Raid,” is considered by historians to be the last land battle of the American Revolutionary War.
