ARKANSAS (KNWA/KFTA) — The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) will begin accepting applications on July 7 to help Arkansas households manage rising summer cooling costs.
The federally funded program offers financial aid to families who meet income eligibility guidelines, which are set at 60% of the state median income or 150% of the Federal Poverty Level. For example, a single person earning up to $2,054 per month or a family of four earning up to $3,949 per month may qualify.
