If you have a lead foot, here is a heads-up for you. Arkansas Law Enforcement is out in full force, looking for people driving over the speed limit. From Wednesday, July 9 to Thursday, July 31, law agencies all across the state are teaming up for this high-visibility campaign called Speeding Slows You Down.
Campaign Details and Duration
You can expect to see an increase in patrol vehicles from not only the Arkansas State Police but also more patrols from local police departments and sheriff’s offices, too.
The message is simple: speeding is dangerous and it can be fatal. Did you know that in 2024, 11,775 people died in speeding-related accidents across the country? In Arkansas, it is estimated that one out of every five traffic deaths last year was due to speeding.
