LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Arkansas Broadcasters Association has announced five new inductees into the 2025 ABA Hall of Fame, including longtime THV11 chief meteorologist Ed Buckner, who passed away May 26, 2025.
Ed Buckner served at THV11 in Little Rock for nearly 25 years, anchoring weekday newscasts nightly until he took a leave of absence due to health concerns in 2020.
He served his community through extensive volunteer work, toured schools with his “Weather Education” program, and was the voice thousands of Arkansans needed during the January 21, 1999 tornado outbreak…
