St. Joseph’s farmstand to continue despite historic building’s demolition

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — St. Joseph’s Farmstand will continue to serve the community, even after the historic St. Joseph’s Orphanage is torn down.

The historic building in North Little Rock is set to be demolished following a devastating fire in March that severely damaged the 117-year-old building.

Officials reported that the fire originated in the attic, and despite the swift response from firefighters, the damage was too extensive to repair. While the loss of the building is a significant blow, there is hope for the future of the site…
