Delta-8 and Delta-9 Products Banned in Arkansas
According to a report from THV11, a new law was announced on Tuesday by Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin that now makes it illegal for businesses to sell the product. Businesses that were selling it must remove the product from their store shelves immediately. Refusal to do so could hold the store owners liable for criminal charges and customers who buy the product.
In 2023, the bill known as Act 629 was passed, but then blocked by a federal judge after local sellers filed lawsuits. This week, lawmakers introduced a new court ruling and reversed the freeze in order to provide clarification of the law.
