Fatal car accidents in Arkansas increase by 30% in one decade

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — A new report shows that while the number of fatal crashes has decreased over the last three years, the overall trend over the past decade is still going in the wrong direction.

Traffic fatalities in Arkansas are up 30% from 2014, and from 2021 to 2024, it cost the state close to 19 billion dollars in what the report calls societal harm.
