FBI warns Arkansans of rising scam threats amid AI advancements

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Scammers are increasingly using advanced tactics, including artificial intelligence, to exploit unsuspecting victims, according to the FBI. A TikTok video, viewed by 2.2 million people, highlighted the alarming scare tactics employed by scammers. In the video, a family recounts a harrowing experience where a scammer threatened to shoot a family member unless money was transferred via Zelle.
