Arkansas officials express concern after closure of Pulaski County Crisis Stabilization unit

PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. — Big changes are happening for those in need of mental healthcare in central Arkansas.

The Pulaski County Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) closed this month, leaving many in a mental health crisis, with nowhere else to go.

After about 6 years of caring for people in need, the stabilization unit is at a halt, but county leaders told THV11 they hope the closure is temporary. They also said that they’re working to find a new operator to get it back open and running again…
