ALEXANDER, ARKANSAS.- It’s been a difficult few weeks for people who knew and loved 15-year-old Makayla Fortner before her death.
Her mother, Stephanie Wilkie, says the community has shown up endlessly for her and her family, and on Saturday, they packed Bryant Soccer Field for Makayla’s memorial service.
“She didn’t die in vain, and she will always be remembered”, Wilkie said.
