LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – At the corner of Seventh and Gaines streets in Little Rock stands one of the city’s oldest churches — a place rooted in history and built on the courage and faith of a former slave.
“We would not be here without Wilson Brown,” said Renee Hubbard, a longtime member of First Missionary Baptist Church.
