MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Four men from Texas are accused of stealing from a Maryland Heights pharmacy.
On Thursday, the Maryland Heights Police Department Bureau of Investigations went to Clark County, Arkansas, as part of a coordinated multi-agency investigation into a pharmacy burglary that occurred that morning. Maryland Heights detectives worked with several different agencies, including North Little Rock Police Department, the Little Rock DEA, the Group 6 Narcotics Task Force and the Arkansas State Police.
The operation resulted in four suspects being arrested: Erik Lyons, 21, Johnathan Fore, 29, Omar Bartley White Jr., 21, and Anthony Vanwright, 32. Each suspect is charged in Clark County Circuit Court with eight counts of trafficking in a controlled substance.
According to the Maryland Heights Police Department, during the investigation, authorities recovered about 284 bottles of stolen medication, totaling more than 26,000 pills. Among the pills were controlled substances, including Morphine, Oxycodone, OxyContin and Methadone. The estimated value of the seized narcotics is between $750,000 and $1 million…
