Twenty-one recruits graduate to become Pulaski County deputies

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Twenty-one men and women have achieved a milestone by graduating from the academy to become Pulaski County Sheriff’s deputies.

A graduation ceremony was held Friday at New Hope Baptist Church in North Little Rock, where the new deputies had their badges pinned by their loved ones.

Deputy Chief Charles Hendricks said the recruits endured four weeks of adversity consisting of fitness, shooting, and exams. Hendricks added that the margin of error is thin.
