LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A local funeral home business is supporting the Little Rock Fire Department through a donation.
The Smith Family Funeral Homes will present a $5,000 donation to the LRFD Honor Guard Monday, Aug. 11. The check presentation will be held at 11 a.m. at the Little Rock firefighters building, located at 210 South Gaines Street.

Officials said the donation will help the honor guard to continue its mission of representing the department at funerals, memorials and public events.
“Our firefighters show up for us every day this is one way we can show up for them,” Smith Family Funeral Homes President Jeff Smith said. “We`re honored to support the men and women who serve and protect our community with such devotion.”
