LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The most recent report from the Arkansas Department of Human Services shows that in 2023, they conducted more than 34,000 child maltreatment assessments.
DHS reports 23% of the cases showed credible evidence that during the summer months, children found themselves isolated and victims of abuse.
