Russellville, Ark. (KATV) — Arkansas is exploring the potential of small modular reactors (SMRs) to revolutionize its energy landscape.

Currently, the Arkansas Nuclear One plant in Russellville uses enriched uranium as fuel, but advocates like State Representative Jack Ladyman are pushing for the adoption of SMRs, which promise to extract more power from uranium and offer significant benefits to the state.
