Arkansas Department of Health eliminating 30 employee positions in November

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — More than two dozen positions at the Arkansas Department of Health will be eliminated in November, a department spokesperson said on Thursday.

The spokesperson told KNWA/FOX24 that 30 ADH employees were notified that their positions with the department would be terminated effective Nov. 1.

The employees whose jobs were being cut include 13 in the Hometown Health Support Services program, eight in the Public Health Emergency Preparedness program, six in the Office of Health Disparities Elimination and three in the Office of Performance Management, Quality Improvement and Evaluation.
