Little Rock hosts job fair to help formerly incarcerated individuals

LITTLE ROCK, AR (KATV) — The city of Little Rock is gearing up for its largest job fair, aiming to tackle unemployment and provide a fresh start for those who have been incarcerated.

The event, organized by the Department of Community Programs, will take place this Friday at the West Central Community Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Dwight Pridgeon and Shaneka Jones, involved in organizing the event, said, “It definitely did take a lot to pull it off, but we had a little practice. We did this last year for the very first time, and it was such a success.”…
