LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — Alia Pope, an Arkansas teacher, has captured the internet’s attention with her innovative and entertaining educational videos, amassing millions of views and hundreds of thousands of followers across major social media platforms.
Being an educator is a long term goal achieved for Pope. “I’ve always been interested in being a teacher. I can remember in primary school I would come home from school and me and my friends would meet up at the park and I would reteach the entire lesson for the day.” Now she’s getting expand on her work.
Pope, who has been teaching for six years, began creating TikTok videos during the pandemic.
