LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The organization, 100 Families Initiative of Pulaski County, has put together a three-part series focused on addressing and reducing violence in the county.
On Wednesday, the nonprofit held the second part of the series titled “Building a Collective Moral Voice” at Arkansas Baptist College. People heard from mothers in the community who have lost their loved ones to gun violence.

LaShanna Bruce, the coordinator for the organization, said violence is a crisis that puts families in a spiral and leaves a ripple effect; however, the community can come together.
