Arkansas Black Hall of Fame announces 2025 inductees

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Arkansas Black Hall of Fame announced its 2025 class ahead of its formal induction ceremony scheduled for October.

The latest class will feature Arkansans recognized for their work, achievements and contributions to the state and nation.

According to the organization’s website, the 2025 honorees are Linda Pondexter Chesterfield, Honorable Marion A. Humphrey, Sr., Garbo & Archie Hearne, M.D., Cleon Aurelius Flowers, Sr., M.D., Latriece Watkins and Charlie Nelms, Ed.D.

The formal inductee announcement will be made at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, at the Statehouse Convention Center Rotunda. The induction ceremony will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11 at the Robinson Center Music Hall…
