The Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC) has opened applications for the second round of the Arkansas Site Development Program, a state initiative designed to improve industrial site readiness and attract job-creating projects.
“Arkansas is proving that when sites are ready, jobs follow,” said Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders. “Recent investments from companies like Welspun Tubular and Elopak at the Port of Little Rock show how preparation paves the way for transformative projects. This next round of Site Development grants will equip even more communities to be ready when opportunity knocks.”
The program offers matching funds to cities, counties, chambers of commerce and economic development organizations to help prepare large industrial sites for future investment. Eligible projects include infrastructure upgrades, site grading, drainage, land acquisition and environmental studies…
