Cornhole golf is coming to Conway.
A new cornhole golf course is having a grand opening Saturday, Aug. 30, at Beaverfork Lake RV Resort. For the opening weekend, there will be free hot dogs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the course will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. or “until the party stops,” Owner Eric Chambers said.
Cornhole golf is a new phenomenon, and this is the second location ever in a franchise model for the game.
The game involves three different spots from which someone throws the bag while trying to avoid obstacles. Players get a stroke for each time they don’t make the bag go into the hole. If a player makes a bag onto the board but not in the hole, they get board points. For every three points, players get to deduct one stroke from their final score.
