August 31, 1863 – Multiple skirmishes across Arkansas. Actions were recorded on Reynolds’ Road near Pocahontas (Randolph Co.); near Caddo Gap (Montgomery Co.); at Bentonville (Benton Co.); and militia–guerrilla violence in Searcy County.
