Three dead, three injured in Lake Hamilton weekend boat crash near fireworks celebration

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. — A holiday weekend on Lake Hamilton turned tragic late Sunday night after two boats collided, killing three people and injuring three others.

The crash occurred around 11:08 p.m. near Little Goat Island, shortly after a major fireworks display had drawn hundreds of boats to the lake. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is leading the investigation into the crash.

The victims have been identified as Andrew Eason, 36, of Mabelvale; Justin Hall, 50, of Hot Springs; and Edis Miller, 44, also of Hot Springs. All three were pronounced dead after being recovered from the water. The conditions of the three injured individuals have not yet been released.
