NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The North Little Rock Police Department has identified the man killed in a shooting in North Little Rock early on Labor Day.
NLRPD officials identified the victim as 50-year-old Robert Mathis of Sherwood.

On Monday, authorities said officers responded just before 3 a.m. to the 300 block of East Bethany Road. After arriving, officers said they found a man who had been shot.
The victim, now identified as Mathis, was taken to a local hospital for treatment but later died from his injuries…
