LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — The Van, a non-profit organization dedicated to aiding the unhoused, has secured a permanent building for an emergency shelter in Pulaski County, marking a significant milestone for the organization, which has faced numerous challenges in its quest to establish a stable location.
Aaron Reddin, CEO and founder of The Van, expressed relief and excitement over the new development. “It is a long time coming, you know. And we started last year, just kind of decided it’s time to anchor this down somewhere,” he said.
