Arkansas gas prices jump 9 cents

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – The average price of gasoline in Arkansas shot up several cents in the week following the Labor Day holiday.

Based on its survey of 1,826 stations in the Natural State, GasBuddy.com reported Monday the average price of regular unleaded rose 9.4 cents a gallon in the last week to $2.81 a gallon.

That’s 1.3 cents more than a month ago and 6.9 cents a gallon less than last year…
