NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — The Arkansas National Guard is set to host its annual Minuteman Day this Saturday at Camp Robinson, opening its gates to the public for a day of education and entertainment. The event aims to demystify the Guard’s operations and highlight the opportunities it offers.
Colonel Joel Lynch emphasized the importance of transparency, saying, “It’s important to us, for one, we’re always trying to educate people on what it is that we do, whether it’s our federal mission or our state active duty missions, when we respond for like a tornado response or a flood.”
Lynch added, “We want people to be familiar with us. For one just kind of eliminates the mystery of what is, what happens at Camp Robinson, what, what does the military do? So we are always willing to share that.”…
