LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials with the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration are warning about a text scam aimed at taxpayers that is being reported nationally, including in Arkansas.
Officials said targets of the scam will receive a text message asking for accurate information so money can be deposited into their accounts. The text may appear to be from a government agency and request immediate action, they said.
