As September wraps up and October begins this week, the forecast will also resemble fall in the Natural State. Highs in the afternoons will be warm to very warm, but overnight and morning temperatures will feel crisp and cool. Sunday night, temperatures will drop into the low 60s in the metro. Some spots in Arkansas will drop into the mid to upper 50s, especially in northern Arkansas.
After needing a sweater or a light jacket in the morning, no jacket will be comfortable in the afternoon on Monday. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s across much of the state. Some areas in southern Arkansas will flirt with the low 90s in the afternoon. Expect mostly sunny skies and calm northeasterly winds on Monday.
