Twenty-eight law enforcement officers from across Arkansas completed a three-day crime scene training course at Arkansas State University-Mountain Home, learning advanced evidence collection techniques from FBI Evidence Response Team agents.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office and the 14th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney’s Office sponsored the training, which focused on evidence collection and documentation, crime scene photography, forensic techniques involving latent fingerprints, impressions, and the use of alternate light sources.
