High-altitude balloon drifts over Southwest Arkansas during early Thursday journey

A high-altitude balloon was over Southwest Arkansas area early Thursday morning.

At 1:20 a.m. Thursday, the Aerostar balloon was on a track of 94 degrees – almost due east – at about 13 mph. It was roughly traveling parallel to Arkansas 296 east of Texarkana.
