LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Families from across the state gathered at War Memorial Stadium Saturday morning for the Fifth Annual Buddy Walk, the largest event of the year for the Arkansas Down Syndrome Association (ADSA).
The annual walk is a day of celebration aimed at promoting awareness, acceptance, and inclusion of individuals with Down syndrome.

Miss Arkansas 2025, Kennedy Holland, attended the event and spoke about its significance.
“It’s so special to see so many families get together to empower their loved ones who have Down Syndrome, and it’s really special to see everyone uplift one another and be able to celebrate,” Holland said.
