LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — The federal government’s ongoing shutdown has created much uncertainty for Arkansas National Guardsmen. Air Guardsmen did not have drill last weekend after it was rescheduled, and Army Guardsmen will drill this weekend, but won’t see the drill checks that many soldiers depend on until the shutdown ends.
After much deliberation, choosing between a rock and a hard place, Arkansas’ Adjutant General decided to press on with the established Army Guard drill schedule on Tuesday afternoon.
