City of Little Rock gives update on historic firefighter union agreement

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Mayor Frank Scott Jr. announced that the city is extending the Little Rock Fire Department’s existing two-year contract to a three-year contract following a union agreement.

“It’s a testament to what they’ve done for the people of Little Rock, and we’re so grateful,” stated Mayor Scott.

The new contract is the most money the Little Rock Fire Department has ever received, with staff set to receive 5% raises for 2024, 2025, and 2026 consecutively, leading up to 2027…
