Arkansas teaming with Google for free computer job training programs

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The State of Arkansas is teaming up with Google to provide free access to resources for job training programs.

The state announced Tuesday that they’re partnering with Grow with Google for a new initiative to “give Arkansans across the state the training they need to thrive as new technologies change the global economy,” the state said.

Grow with Google will provide free access to multiple training programs that “will provide certificates and credentials in fields such as cybersecurity, data analytics, digital marketing and e-commerce, and IT support.” The programs have been developed with the aid of people from their industries in order to meet the needs of employers…
