Ward 2 residents demand Ken Richardson’s removal despite health issues

Ken Richardson, the director of Little Rock’s Ward 2 has not attended a city board meeting since May of 2024, as he recovers from what has been described as multiple life-threatening surgeries.

Despite that, Little Rock residents in Ward 2 are calling for his removal from office.

More than 27,000 Arkansans live in Ward 2 according to a 2020 census. The ward encompasses the areas around Baseline Road, Geyer Springs Road, and east of University Avenue. These individuals have gone without a voice on the city board for more than a year…
