Talk about luck! A Garland County resident has finally come forward to claim his jackpot winning of $1.338 million in the October 15 Arkansas Scholarship LOTTO drawing.
The winner was in Fort Smith working when he decided at the last minute at his favorite covience store to grab some beef jerky and a few draw game tickets. He was already scoping out the $625 million jackpot for Friday night’s Mega Millions drawing but another game got his attention.
According to a press release, the jackpot for LOTTO, an Arkansas-exclusive draw game, was over $1 million for that night’s drawing.
The luck winner asked the clerk was it too late to purchase a ticket to play. The clerk said he had time so he bought a Quick Pick ticket for Wednesday night’s drawing and tickets for Mega Millions and Lucky for Life…
