Little Rock community outraged after city board allows group home in neighborhood

A Little Rock Board of Directors vote has one community upset and confused after the city voted to uphold a decision allowing a mental health group home called “The Gardens” to move into the Pecan Lake subdivision.

Many of the people living in Pecan Lake, along with nearby Tall Timber residents, attended Tuesday night’s city board meeting hoping to stop the project.

They needed six votes to do that, but only five directors voted in their favor…
